Menses Return.

Hi mummies, I'm a fully bf mum. I had my first menses when I'm 6 month pp and I'm now 8 month pp. Me and my hub had unprotective intercourse and I missed my menses. I tot I might be pregnant again but I took a test kit shows negative till date I'm 40 days late. Is that normal? Or there are still chances of me getting pregnant?

Since you had menses 2 months ago and never again since, it’s quite hard to predict your fertility, but it’s certainly possible to get pregnant even while breastfeeding. Perhaps for now, take folic acid just in case, and repeat your pregnancy test every week for the next few weeks? If it’s still negative for 3-4 weeks, then you’re probably not pregnant from that episode of intercourse
