Diaper cream inside sensitive area

for mummies with baby girls - I noticed that the nappy cream went inside baby's genital area when I clean her bottom. is it safe? I tried to wipe it out with wet cotton but I'm scared to wipe thoroughly. kindly advise. tia!

Just go ahead and wipe it:) very common to get stuck/dried in that area. When she was younger, I didn’t wipe too hard, but tried to remove a bit each time I changed the diaper. When she was a bit older then I was more daring to clean it properly. Didn’t want her to get a UTI from that area being dirty
