G6PD screening

Hi mummies who gave birth at TMC (asking cause it’s easier since we have the same report). My baby is 11mo and I was just looking at her health booklet yesterday and came across this paper which was inside. The results was G6PD screening - Present. Does that mean my baby has G6PD? No one mentioned anything to me during my stay nor did any PD or polyclinic staffs mentioned anything for the entire 11m. Baby’s jaundice was pretty normal at 150 and cleared by the first week, pee’s color have been good, pale yellow. Asking the above because I’m afraid i need to watch the things I feed her. I’ve tried to Google but I seriously still don’t understand what is G6PD. Please helppppp, TIA. #firsttimemom #advicepls #firstbaby #Needadvice

means your baby HAS the enzyme = the enzyme is present. G6PD deficiency (meaning enzyme ABSENT) is the condition to worry about. so you have nothing to worry about.
