FTM When and how to shampoo baby hair

Mummies when do u all start to put shampoo and wash ur baby hair? When washing the soap, how do u all avoid the soap getting into the ears? FTM here! My baby is turning 3 mth old and until today i am still washing his hair with water only.

I use newborn safe body and hair shampoos that doesn’t sting the eyes. I pump only a little bit, maybe a pea size, just for the hair. Gently rub the hair and rinse with water in my palm. Sometimes I pour water bit by bit. Go slowly until you gain confidence.
