1) hi mummies, for those who have a choice between half day and full day childcare, and have experienced both, I would like to hear from you which one is better in terms of sleep & learning? heard that some parents tried half day but this caused the afternoon nap to start even later and full day was better. 2)Is it ok to start with half day and switch to full day, as some CCs say this will only traumatise the kids 2x instead of 1x. 3)Also some CC says that it's better to spread the learning as compared to trying to teach them lots in half a day. will they miss out alot if they only attend half day CC? thanks all for yr insights :)

1) Half day and full day it's the same class. They won't seperate the kids into the respective session. Just that when time is up, your kid will just go home where the rest just proceed with lesson. Usually afternoon naps would be around 1pm? So if yours is half day, your kid will go home and have his nap at home. 2) You can just start with full day. First week bring the kid home after lunch before nap time. Kids need time to transit. Who knows your kid may be enjoying the lessons in school. 3) I believe in the morning they will focus on learning, whereas after nap time could be on hands on activites. Yes they may miss out on certain activities if they attend half day only. Hope it helps!
