Changing gynae?

Hi mummies, stupid question, but is it common to not follow through with the same gynae till the end? I mean, I'm intending to be with my current gynae to do checkups till I deliver, but I choose to deliver at another hospital with another gynae. Is that okay? Sorry first time mum here, so there are lots I'm unsure of.
