14m lacking of biting and chewing

Hi mummies, My LO is 14 months old. However, his bite and chewing are weak. Always refuse to bite or chew unless it's snacks/heinz biscuits. Could this be a cause due to lack of BLW during his earlier stage of starting solids? Any suggestion on how I can strengthen his biting and chewing?

it’s just lack of practice with harder foods that require more jaw movement. try giving corn on cob or steak
