Hi Mummies, I'm a FTM and is at my 40th week. Went to the gynae just now on my EDD and was told that my I'm not even dilated at all so membrane sweep was not possible. Any of of you experienced this before? #firstbaby

Better to check with your doctor and follow his advice carefully. Walking around the room, doing simple movements in bed or chair, or even changing positions may encourage dilation.

Walk, curb walk, squat, climb up & down stairs, have sex and ejaculate inside which helps to soften your cervix, eat pineapple are the known methods to help you dilate.
