38 weeks cramps

hi mummies, i’m 38 weeks + 3d experiencing cramps and slight back ache. no contractions tho. few braxton hicks but they come and go. is labour near? #FirstTimeMumHere

You should count on the contractions minutes/second gaps that you experience. Contraction happened from a range of mild to intense meaning second to 5 mins gap. If this is your first child, it will be long to dilate. However, you should have another check at 39 weeks where they will check if baby's head engaged and cervix has already open up.
