Sugar level

Hello mummies! I just started today to cut down my food intake and follow the dietician’s advice. However my sugar level results doesn’t go down. Even not below 7 after 2 hours of meal. Can I know… when you started to cut down your food intake did you instantly meet the desired sugar level (at least below 7) or it takes times? Like after 1 week thats the time the sugar become stable and lower. 🥺🥺🥺🥺

Sometimes its abt the portion n types of carbs. I have days that i spike also.. its not an immediate effect.. takes alot of trial and error. Prev preg i started at wk 20 (cut carbs, rice totally). This pregnancy i am actually prediabetic but managed to be able to take in carbs still.
