Usually choosing of wards will be done during admission (for my case, my husband was the one doing the admission while I’m upstairs doing the CTG.). You can discuss with your husband then let him know which wards you want so during admission he can update the nurse and pay for the deposit. Gynae only bothers about your preferred birthing method.

it’s usually done during financial counseling between week 36-40 for kkh. you can tell them your preferred choice of ward
