Hyperthyroidism

Hi mummies.. I have long history of hyperthyroidism.. can you pls help recommend me some gynae if you know someone with experience handling such pregnancy? Thank you…

i have hyperthyroidism too. are you seeing any endocrine doctor? I was seeing one even before i got pregnant, when i was pregnant, I did ask her if there is any gynae she recommends for pregnancy with hyperthyroidism, she said just go with any gynae i am comfortable with, and she will monitor my thyroid levels closely. the only convenience is that if i choose a gynae from the same hospital it would be easier to schedule appointments on the same day and that both doc would have access to my records.

    Yes i’m seeing an endo.. my endo also said that i could see any preferred gynae. So I’m checking here if any mummy has similar condition and any gynae to recommend .. :)

    I have hypothryroidism tho. but my endocrine doctor follow up very closely ever since I got pregnant..and change the medication dosage accordingly. I gave birth safely and my thyroid was on good track.
