Having a fever, sore throat

Hi mummies! I have been feeling under the weather for 2 days and I do not want to eat the panadol subscribed by doctor as I scared it might affect the baby. Any tips or any advise? #notcovid #help

Hi dear! Normal Panadol (not extra) is completely OK for you and baby. Best to eat at least once to bring down your body temperature, drink plenty of water and rest ample! You can try remedies to soothe your sore throat, likely what's causing your fever.. Make sure temperature not too high, please take care and get well soon! :)

Me too, I don’t like to depend on medication as well. But be careful if your temperature is too high, can affect baby’s brain development and growth. Do also test yourself for covid, just in case. Drink lemon warm water to flush out toxins and hydrate more than usual. Rest and eat well-balanced meals.

If you dont want to take medicine, sleep the whole day and drink more warm water. Lemon, honey, ginger stir together in warm water also good remedy. But try not to choose raw honey.

eat normal paracetamol at least once to cool down the temp. don't take panadol extra. that's what all doctors said to me. I had fever twice during my pregnancy

If you have a fever and sore throat there is a high likelihood you have covid! So an art throat swab test if the nose test is negative!
