Hi mummies, how do you deal with mummies guilt. As I'm returning to work soon, the separation anxiety and mummies guilt seem to get stronger...

I think we all go through different stages as our child is growing up, and we will eventually learn to adapt to it. It's like first day of going back to work, first day of child CC, first day of child primary school. Everything will give us anxiety and sometimes guilt for not spending enough time with them. But life goes on as we need to bring the dough home, so don't worry, it's normal :)

I had the same separation anxiety when I went back to work when baby was 11months old. I felt even worse and. Any was crying so much when I leave home. In the end I left my job and now trying to look for something part time or more flexi. Need to take a step back in my career coz I don't think there is work life balance as u move up the ladder.

Hey dear, separation anxiety is hard to manage. If you do get the panic attacks, always remember to let it come, let it be (allowing yourself to staying with the emotion within a time frame) let it go. It's therapy. Positive mindset will help, it's the emotion which comes and is hard to let go. I feel you. Big hugs.

It is very difficult to be straddling between work and home. I ended up emotionally half at work and half at home which did not do anyone a favor. So I learned to focus and be in the moment. When at work, I focus on work. When at home, I focus on my Son. That has worked well for me all these years. Hope this helps : )

Hi, I think these are teething problems and initially they will grip you but with time everything falls in place. You will also adjust and so will the baby. It happens with almost all the mums who take a break after the delivery.

It will get better as the days pass by, Tell yourself that you need to work hard in order to bring your child to fun places and enjoy. Print some photos and place it at your desk. it helps a lot

I on the other hand can't wait to be away! But yes it is normal as I have friends who are like that and describe it as if it's a physical pain. A few times and then u will get used to it

On my first day return back to work I was a bit sad too but we are really low on finance that time. Agree that it will get better as it goes.

I just returned to work too! It gets better as the days pass. It helps that it's my mom who looks after my baby when i'm at work :)

Thank you everyone for the encouragements, it really helps and matters. Thank you mummies!
