Fever in baby

Hello mummies. My 13month old baby have fever since Thursday night, went to doc on Friday. Her fever subside (36degree) after medication and can last for 10hours before fever (38degree) is back again. Is this normal? What can I do to prevent her temperature spike?

I tried it mommy .. all i did on that time is pina inum ku lang sya ng fever med every 6-8 hrs as prescribed by his pedia and e cold compress mo lang sya palagi para hindi masyado tumaas temp nya. The fever can last up to 3-4 days basta always check his temp and cold compress mu lang. I think he is teething and fever is common lng mums sa ganyang case
