Up to your budget and comfort. Private: - Can choose and stick to one gynae. - Easier to schedule appointments. - More expensive. - Can take single room. Public: - Most likely different gynae each appointments. - Longer appointments time frame. - Cheaper. - Only can choose certain ward (eg no single room) Forgot to add on, there are also private patients at public hospitals. So if you have a preferred gov hospital eg KKH but would like to give birth as private also can. However do check if you gynae gives birth at that hospital. For mine, he only do Mt E and TMC. 😊

We wanted to go private but then decided to go kk public, cause they say can switch at a later stage. However, If you’ve had previous fertility conditions before such as PCOS, Endometriosis , … e.t.c, kkh has everything to support. If you are pink in health then private could be a better option for service. Depends on your body and you can discuss with your husband.

I tried both kkh and private hosp, personally I like kkh midwife team better during labour! :) if you can afford, can go for private in kkh too! Some ppl start off as subsidised in kkh, then chose a gynae (private) closer towards labour

Just go public they are equally good. coz when u have complication it wont make u broke
