Cleaning baby teeth

Hi mummies, my 1yo teeth has gap and food is stuck in between the gap. How do I get the food out given that it is not easy to get my LO to sit still, open his mouth and let me floss? I did successfully managed to floss but it seem to push the food further down in between the gap. The bristles on baby toothbrush are also round edges and fatter, hence unable to reach the gap. Any suggestions please or which toothbrush can I get. TIA.
