Hi I’m 35 weeks going 36 weeks and am still not vaccinated. I was actually worried when the news came out about more pregnant women contracting the covid virus. I was actually on the fence but i feel its too late to take the jab. moreover, since both me and my husband already made the decision for me not get the jab till after my confinement, he felt that I shouldn’t do it out of desperation since it was an informed decision that we made in the first place. As of now, I’m only leaving for work once a week for half a day and only out for medical appt when necessary. otherwise, am staying home almost everyday. when i’m outside, i’ll make sure that i wash/sanitise my hands regularly and nv remove my mask. I’m also taking ART every week just to make sure i’m fine. so hopefully i’ll give birth soon after 37 weeks when baby is full developed.

Yes in any case this is tough decision since we are nearing our due soon. The choices we made are for the best. I wished & prayed that all are well for all of us pregnant mom. Pls take care & stay safe.

I just give birth a month ago. Just like you when I was pregnant, didn't take any covid vaccine. Planning to take after confinment. With the rising case right now, if you're afraid, best to take it and consult your gynae. They know the best. And it's good to take now, as baby will get the antibodies also. But the decision is up to you. I understand that the covid vaccine is new and you're afraid that anything will happen to baby I'm with you on that. But if you're not taking, stay at home as much as possible. Don't go out unless if you have to. And quickly take your vaccine during/after your confinement and bf your baby so that they can get some of the vaccine also ☺️

I’m nearing 30 weeks, and decided to wait after confinement to get the jab. As i am planning to do c sect at week 38, i have abt 8 weeks left, and the last 2 weeks will be resting at home. Although recent news kinda scare me, but i try to stay home as much as possible and only go out for work. We do ART weekly at home, just to ensure that me and hubby are fine. I know everyone is saying that the jab is safe for the mother and baby, but personally i prefer not to take this extra stress and risk. So mummies, lets stay home and sanitize like crazy when we’re outside! :)

Agree the recent news scared me too. And suddenly the attention is on pregnant mom. Lets pray all went well for us! All the best to u!

My wife took the vaccination for two reasons - she works in a healthcare setting hence higher risk of covid exposure - studies have demonstrated covid antibodies transfer via breast milk. Which provides some form of protection. Rmb baby still needs to go out to PD or polyclinic to check for jaundice after birth. Hence still need to go out. Nevertheless it’s an individual choice. Have a safe delivery! :)

Week 38 and not vaccinated too. Did consider when govt announced vaccine is safe for pregnant woman. But gynae brought up that I will be near my edd when I finished two jab and there might be not enough time to pass antibiotics to baby. The cases then were quite controlled. But given the surge in cases now, I am staying home as much as possible while waiting for the arrival of my baby. Stay safe mamas!

Gave birth last Friday and wasn’t vaccinated. I just took the first jab yesterday. It was a decision I made at week 28 to wait till delivery to get the vaccine. Quite frankly most pregnant moms i overheard in the observation ward while I was admitted were also not vaccinated.

I think for 1st dose side effects is not that bad to think of.

me.. im at 32 weeks and will induced at 38 weeks. earlier on me and hubby already decided to wait till after Confinement to jab. so we are just staying home most of the time and taking extra precaution if we have to go out..

Guessed we have to wat is the best for us & bb. All the best to u!

Me. I feel like others are judging me for not taking the jab when clearly govt said it is safe for pregnant woman to take. Hahahaha. But it’s down to personal choice, hope we respect each other’s choices. And stay safe

Don’t feel that way because i feel that the studies are insufficient
