is this my mucus plug? do i need to wait for contractions before going in

Might be but it is not a sign of labour coming immediately. Some mums lose the mucous plug for days before actual labour. Look out for frequent contractions (5-1-1 rule, one contraction every 5 mins lasting at least a minute each and lasting over an hour) and your water bag breaking as signs to check in to the hospital soon.

Could be. But yes, please wait for regular contractions, about 1 every 5 minutes, or if your water bag bursts. My mucus plug started coming out 6 days before I went into labour. Every day, more of it came out

Abit too small n too little.. mucus plug is like thick gooey mucus.. could be reddish or yellowish.. but i only went to hosp when the contractions started
