Still cannot lie on your tummy even after you give birth! 😅 What I can say is, road to recovery is pretty tough. Have someone to help you with baby and household chores. Focus on recovery and have a good support system cause you’ll feel like crap all day everyday cause can’t move or bend much. Make sure you always wear a binder to support your stomach from moving too much when you walk especially. Take it slow and don’t rush into exercising or driving. Take care of your wound too, make sure you don’t get any infection. Your c-sect area will feel extremely numb for many months so you won’t feel any pain in the area. Heed all confinement advices whether you like it or not. Don’t drink ice water as it can cause blood clots in your stomach. Drink plenty of warm water and wear compression socks if your feet is swollen. Use a pillow or something if it gets uncomfortable during breastfeeding. Make sure you’re fully healed before trying to have sex. I thought I was never going to heal after my c-sect because it was really tough. I can feel the burning sensation inside my stomach whenever I try to bend sideways to take something. I was so scared of coughing or sneezing too. But you’ll soon understand how your body works and will get accustomed to it.
