G6PD

Moms please enlighten me, lumabas result ng baby ko n my G6PD nakuhanan sya ng dugo for newborn screening nung 1 month nya na sa center lng po then pina ulit ung NBS nya nung 1month and 16 days nya for confirmatory dw kc my nakita.. Then ngauna araw after 4 days tumawag ulit sabi my G6PD. tanung ko lng po kong accurate p kaya ang result pg ganung buwan na newborn ang baby? 1st NBS nya 1 month after ko sya pinanganak then 2ND NBS nya 1 month and 16 days.. Pls po pasagot.. Nagugulohan kc ako.. Salamat po moms

Accurate po un. My son is positive with G6PD, He is 10 years old now. Pag kuha nyo ng result they will explain to you about G6PD then they will hand out a list of prohibited food and drugs for a G6PD child. Iwas lang talaga sa bawal kungdi ndi maiwasan minimal intake will do.
