Routine Gynae check up stop at 36 week?

Hi moms, Would like to know how often you guys go for Gynae check up for 3rd trimester? Was having check up once every 4 weeks at KKH. Week 36 was my last check up and was being told that everything is fine. Then my Gynae asked me if nothing don’t need to come back anymore. Until my scheduled cesarean date (week 39) Is this normal? I thought after week 36 will be more crucial and need to visit more often? How do I know if the amniotic fluid (the water inside) will suddenly decrease? Or umbilical cord will be twisted / round neck ?? #37weekNow #3rdtrimester #lastTrimester #checkupfrequency #kkh

Hi dear, Did you probe and ask further? Sometimes it’s good for us to ask the questions we need to ask so that the doctor knows what we’re thinking and feeling about what’s been told to us. Without the questions, they might think we’re okay with everything when really what they’ve done is added a level of anxiety that’s not good for baby.
