Unfortunately it'll be like this for at least a week. I only felt 100% "normal" again after a month. Do try to get as much help and rest as much as you can. My husband and MIL were really wonderful and stepped up in caring for the baby especially in the first week when I felt quite useless as I was trying to navigate motherhood while recuperating from episiotomy.
congratulations on your baby. the pain is normal, I also had a normal delivery and an episiotomy 2 months back and it took almost 6 weeks for the pain to go back, stiches still feel sore at times. but try using cool packs and sitz bath to reduce the pain. take stool softeners and painkillers to help.
Time will heal! It gets very uncomfortable to move around or even sit. But maybe you can get a donut cushion to relief some pressure while sitting ☺️ Something like this! https://s.shopee.sg/7pZXe0utbo
yup, wash / clean gently.. I didn't go with cool pads since my pain tolerance is high. I just go with it. I change pads and clean regularly. My hubby helps at night so I get rested.
hope these are of help to you https://sg.theasianparent.com/postpartum-recovery-timeline https://sg.theasianparent.com/category/postpartum-care
