OGTT @24 weeks

Hi mommies. My OB already gave me a prescription for OGTT exam and I had it done this afternoon. While waiting for the 1-hr window for my supposed to be 3rd extraction, the clinic called and told me that the test had to be redone. They extracted a bad blood sample on my 2nd (apparently my veins collapsed while extracting). Anyway, I was worried that the glucose syrup I took might cause a shoot up in my sugar. I am just worried and don’t know if I can take precautions like no carbs/sugar intake in the following days. Does anyone here experienced the same? Thanks! #firstbaby #36andpregnant #FTM
