Birth at 36 weeks

Hi mommies, i’m thinking of going for csec/induce at 36 weeks. For mommies who experienced birth at 36 weeks, can share likelihood of baby requiring nicu care? Tks much!

Hi mummy! What's the reason of you deciding to go for a c-sect at 36 weeks? All I know is gynae won't indice you unless there is complications with your pregnancy. 36 weeks is still early or you can wait till 37 weeks? I had to be induced at 35w6d due to PPROM and my baby required nicu & scn to administer antibiotics for 5 days before his PD gave me the A-okay to go home together.

If there no health complication, do not go for wk36 . I deliver at wk36 due to pre eclampsia. My girl is jn high dependency ward for 3 days and once reach the weight of 2kg can go home.
