Is Toddler's 500ml Food Canister allowed as Carry-On Baggage on flight?

Hi Mommies and Daddies, I am bringing my 2 years old Toddler on a Jetstar flight to Malaysia. Do any of you know whether is a 500ml Food Canister of porridge allowed in the Carry-On Baggage? And how about 350ml of water in the usual water bottle that we use in Child Care Centre?

Water bottle no problrem - I just took a flight last night with no issues with toddler water bottle. Can't say for porridge
