pneumococcal vaccine

Hi, Mommies! Anyone here took pneumococcal vaccine? I heard that this is recommended for seniors and those with medical conditions. But I’m wondering if it’s something worth considering too. I know that it won’t 100% protect one from Covid-19 but I welcome any kind of extra protection. It is advised for the seniors to have their pneumococcal vaccine yearly meron din long term like 5yrs kasi yun sa parents ko high risk sila that's why they really need it. Aside from that meron yearly flu shots. Same with my family we get flu shots yearly. These are added protection against covid.
