How to feed?

Hi, mommies! Anyone has tips for feeding LO? Mine is soon to be 14 months now and she refuses to be fed. We started to let her eat on her own but doesnt know how to teach her to do so… She eats in a mess at home which is alright but this happens when we are eating out too and gets really messy. wondering if it is better when she starts playgroup? #Needadvice

A mummy with two young kids!

hi mummy! this is the age of exploration!! they want to be “independent” but it’s a phase - they will tire of it and want you to feed them again after the phase passes (could be weeks or months). at the moment just praise your girl for learning to be independent and encourage her! it will get better!! in playgroup the teachers will help guide them to eat with less mess too!
