Having steroids shots for my babys lungs

Question

Hello mga mommy, Im at 36 weeks pero sobrang nakakaramdam na ako ng discomfort with my pregnancy.  CS section ako supposed to be scheduled on the 25th, kaso kagabi Im in pain pero no signs of bleeding. Tas nag 1cm na ako. Ngayon, si OB ayaw niya pa palabasin si baby dahil kulang pa siya sa weeks. Shes afraid na baka need NICU ni baby kung ilalavas na siya ngayon kaya I was advised to take pampakapit at injections for my babys lungs. Im more concern, what if walang changes na mangyari. Will she be okay? Last BPS, may babys weight is at 2.7kg. Please help me ease my dilemma.

Praying for your baby. Yes, magiging okay sya basta may shots ka ng steroids. Maselan ako mag buntis noon, kaya 33wks palang nagtetake nako ng oral steroids. At 35wks nag early labor pero closed cervix pa naman, nag inject ng steroids habang naka confine tapos at 36wks 4days cs nako kasi may contraction talaga. Okay naman si baby, hindi na nicu. Thankful, kasi lumalaking healthy naman si baby, 17 mos na sya now. Except, na nagjaundice sya pagkalabas ng hospital pero after a month okay na. Pray lang. Relax and trust your ob.
