Hi mommy ☺️ Ang masasabi ko ay, you need all the help you can get. Honestly, sobrang laki ng respeto sa mga single moms, hindi ko alam paano nila kinakaya 😥 What to expect? - Lack of rest and sleep. Maliit pa lang tummy ni baby at hindi nya kaya magstore ng maraming milk kaya expect na maya't-maya feeding nya. Experience ko before, breastfeeding sya for 30mins-1hr, then makakatulog while you try to burp them for 15mins, then ilalapag mo sa higaan, in 15mins or less ay magigising sya and repeat cycle. Expect this for the 1st couple of months. Dede-tulog-wiwi/pupu... iyan lng ang gagawin nila buong araw, regardless if it's night or day. And adapting pa si baby sa outside world and being held by you, smelling your scent and hearing your heartbeat is the most comfortable and familiar feeling for them. - irregular pa rin hormones mo during this time, so be wary of your feelings and emotions. Educate your partner about postpartum depression para mamonitor ka rin nya. - BE KIND TO YOURSELF. In order to take care of baby, you have to take care of yourself first. Whatever free time you get to have, prioritize it on yourself-- eat, sleep, take a bath or brush your teeth. - I think this one is underrated: BREAST ENGORGEMENT/ MASTITIS due to unstable milk supply. Please research and learn more about Breasfeeding and how to Deep latch si baby. Breastfeeding is often painful but it should NOT have to be. Breastfeeding is worth it but it's not easy and involves a LOT of sacrifice. - Maraming reasons bakit umiiyak si baby: gutom, pupu/ wiwi, need to burp, room temperature, needs hug/ comfort, may sakit. Do not panic. Be sympathetic and understanding na crying is baby's only way to communicate and tell you that they need something. The mere fact that you're worrying about this already makes you a good mom ☺️ Please stay healthy.

Aww *hugs 🤗 Thank you rin! I'm glad I was of help kahit paano ☺️ I'm far from being a perfect mom, pero marami lang din ako natututunan from other moms online. In particular, I joined the FB group "Breastfeeding Pinays" and I learned so much from there (I also recommend that you join). And now na toddler na si lo, I really like yung mga contents ni Dr. Siggie Cohen PhD ☺️ Pahabol pala: Baby Growth Spurt! learning about this one is my life saver ☺️ I once read a mom describe it as mga times na "nakakadurog ng pagkatao", at para sa akin ay napaka-accurate ng description na iyon. So better research on that na rin 😄 God bless rin po! ☺️
