Breastfeed to formula
Hello mga mommies, any tips po kung pano po I-swich si LO from breastfeed to formula, 1yr old na po siya, tinatry po naming padedehin siya sa feeding bottle nag dedede po siya pero niluluwa niya din, ibat ibang brand po ng formula na yung natry namin pero ganon pa rin 🥺 #firstTime_mom #thankyousatips
our 1 yr old is drinking pediasure and ascenda as suggested by our pedia. according to her, babies like those brands better. nung nagsisimula akong mag-wean, ayaw niya or konti lang iniinom niya. but when I stopped breastfeeding completely, lumakas yung formula milk intake niya. tiis at pasensya lang, madami rin nasayang na gatas kasi inaayawan niya, pero tuloy lang pagbibigay namin. 3 weeks pa bago niya tinanggap yung formula. so my advice, keep offering formula milk to your child.
Magbasa paGano kabilis ka magswitch ng formula? Try mo muna straight for at least a week. Baka hindi sya sanay sa nipple? Try slow flow lang and pigeon soft touch para close to nipple ng breast and hindi mabigla si baby. When I transition to mix feeding ng 1 year old din si lo ko, our pedia recommends similac gain or nan optipro. Try to consult with your pedia din. And also try to offer solid food na din kasi at that age, they need more nutrients na.
Magbasa paHi mommy ☺️ At 1yo, advisable po na solid foods na ang main source of nutrition ni baby, complementary na lang ang milk. So rather than worrying about transitioning to formula milk, mas mainam po to focus on giving nutritious solid foods na lng po. Better of continuous breastfeeding pa rin but if not, you can give milk na rin po using cups 😊

Magbasa pabase sa experience mi naka base talaga sa nipple na gagamitin. been trying my 4 months to bottle feed since 2 mons xa and regular na nippy lang gmit namin. ng switch ako sa wide neck so far un nagustuhan nya. and now ndede na din xa sa regular nippy.
Itry nyo po ang full cream milk like anchor or arla. pag 1 yr old na po ang bata pwede na po xa ifull cream mas better sa formula. try research po.
pag dating ng 1 yr. old and up focus na sa increase solid food intake. okay lang mag milk pa din pero as refreshment or drinks na lang.
Yan din struggle ko sis. Following this concern. Huhu. Until now dina-dropper ko kasi need niya din milk at medyo underweight siya.
Hindi pala ako nag-iisa. Ganyan din si baby ko dati. Now sis, Ascenda gamit naming milk. Nasa 10kg na siya. Konti na lang para makahabol. 2yo na kasi siya. Sabi ng gastro-pedia, tuloy lang ascenda milk and solid foods🙏🏼
