Hi mga mommies! Pwede nyo po ba maconfirm sa mga pedia nyo if ano dapat gawin kapag expired ang naivaccine kay baby. Expired po kasi yung 2nd dose ng 6in1 ni baby. And if need po ulitin, dapat po ba same brand pa rin po and kelan po dapat ulitin ang vaccine. Thank you! #6in1Vaccine #immunization #vaccine

Hi mommy. According to CDC expired vaccine is considered invalid therefore, it needs to be repeated. CDC: "Inactivated vaccines should generally be repeated as soon as possible. Live vaccines should be repeated after a 28-day interval from the invalid dose to reduce the risk for interference from interferon on the subsequent doses." Edit to add: 6in1 vaccine is INACTIVATED, therefore if expired po talaga yung naadminister sa baby nyo, it needs to be repeated ASAP. But yes, please do consult on your pedia about this po. I'm not really sure why your baby got an expired vaccine.

I think naging complacent sila na laging bago yung stocks na napapadala sa kanila. Although sabi nya 5pcs lang naman ang meron sila and ang kasamahan po nung nainject kay baby e Aug 2022 pa ang expiry. Pero ang nainject niya kay baby po nung Aug and nitong Oct is Aug 2021 ang expiry. Sabi po valid pa naman yung Aug immunization nya pero itong Oct ang invalid na.
