Package or not?

Cheaper po sa CDUH, I availed their maternity package. Advantage sa maternity package is that, cheaper lang even the labs and if you will deliver na your baby. Disadvantage is that every check up different OB Resident yung mag che-check, and if time comes na manganganak na, any OB residents available on that day and time ang magpapa anak. Cheaper and tipid if kukuha ng maternity package, but if you continue with private OB and manganganak in the same hospital it will be costly kahit normal delivery. With my experience sa CDUH package with my 1st born, I would say, I didn't experience the best prenatal care there, I am not saying the residents aren't good, maybe wala lang talaga extra care kapag package and proper management of case. I gave birth at 26 weeks, preterm my baby died after a month. I was stress sa work that time kaya nag preterm, however other factor is that I had threaten abortion during my 8weeks pregnancy when I had 2nd tvs, and the baby was still there walang binigay na prescription for pampakapit or what should precaution I should do kasi 1st time ko pa non. I am not blaming the hospital nor the doctors, but may symptoms na kasi early, kaso hindi na manage ng maayos. Kaya when I got pregnant again, I changed hospital and have private OB. Another thing is the package there walang postpartum care, specially for those with preemies babies, they will look at you as if its your fault. I didn't received any comfort there after having a preemie who spent 32 days in the NICU, but thumbs up to Pediatrics they took care of my son until the very end. Sa OB for maternity packaye medyo I will not recommend but if private OB for sure you will have the best care kahit sa ibang hospital. When I inquire other hosptial maternity package, sa 2nd hospital where I gave birth for the 2nd time, maganda ang package nila kasi they will have postnatal care which is very important. Pero try nalang to inquire CDUH baka may changes na. My experience there was last year 2021, surge ng OMICRON sub variant ng COVID. If you are a 1st time Mom, best option is to have private OB, but if nagtitipid, take extra precaution nalang during prenatal and if ever hindi kampante go for 2nd opinion.
