Cost of CS Delivery, Maxicare Reimbursement

Hi mga mamsh, I just have my check up today, Im 30 weeks pregnant, previously CS din ako sa Chinese Gen. My OB told me that I will be on a scheduled CS by 4th week of Feb which is my 39th week. Sa Chinese Gen po, accredited yun ng health card ko, eh yung affiliated na hospital ng lying in na pinapacheck upan ko eh sa St. Jude General Hospital sa Sampaloc, Manila, anyone who has experience panganganak dun? Saka never tried po kasi na magpareimburse mga gano kaya katagal bago yun maclaim? Sabi ng OB kasi ang cost ng CS ay nasa 70k sa St. Jude. Initially kasi gusto sana namin sa Chinese Gen kasi accredited ng Maxicare pero kasi dahil po sa covid kaya di makapagpacheck up dun.. so naglying in kami pero ayun I was informed to be on scheduled CS nga po. If your OB is Doc Maureen Higoy, youre in good hands. Pero hindi ako sa st. Jude nanganak, sa lying in clinic nya since I was normal. I think you just have to trust your OB. 😊 St. jude hospital does not accept covid patients kaya for sure your birthing experience with them will be good.
