Folic acid once a day for first trimester, then shift to any multivitamins (1 brand may do) during second trimester and continue up to 3 months after delivery 2. You may start calcium supplement (any brand) once a day during the first trimester until 3 months after delivery 3. You may or may not drink prenatal milk supplements if you are already taking calcium tablets. 4. Most important is you eat the right kinds of food. Cooked meals. Rice at least 3 ½ cups per day. Include fruits which should be thoroughly washed. 5. Avoid food and drinks that have high caloric content like cakes, donuts, milktea, softdrinks, etc."
