Maternity Leave Planning

Has anyone here started thinking about ML planning? My manager is asking about it. I shared with her in my 1st trimester as I needed to take time off from work to see gynae right after I came back from a 2 weeks holiday. I felt bad about it and thought that it’s better for me to share with her the reasons so that she understands. Just wondering if anyone here plans to club all types of leaves tgt? I.e 4 months ML + approx 14 ALs + 6 Child care leave altogether to extend the ML? My EDD is 15 July. Thanks

Suggest to save the CCLs for baby medical appointments, will be quite frequent at the start for the vaccines and in case unwell after vaccine want to stay home look after

my boy was born on 15 July, I took 4 months Maternity Leave from 15 July. 6days CCL use for month of December 21 days AL carry forward

I think you can save some childcare + annual leaves just for emergency in case baby sick / check up etc :)
