Mamypoko tape leakage

My LO is 17m and I’m using pants for day, tape for night as I feel tape can hold more pee compared to pants. I started letting her wear pants at 12mo as she’s a late walker (started walking at 14mo) and smaller in size. I’m using Merries first premium pants for day, Huggies naturemade tape for night. Previously tried the highly raved Rascal and friends and it failed me badly. Leaked almost very wear 🥲.

my baby is 7mo now. everytime we notice that his pee leaks more often is usually a sign for us to up a diaper size. we have been using tape all along. once we experimented with pants, but realised it's very difficult to put on compared to tape as baby can't stand up yet. once baby can stand with support, I think pants will be easy and faster to put on.
