For the little things yes, if they’ve done something inappropriate or rude, like shouting or messing up the house. for more serious issues i believe it is best for the maid to feedback to us and we will take it from there.
If a kid isn’t treating a maid with basic human respect then obviously she should have the right to discipline the kid, but otherwise not really
If child beats her or whatever, she is of course allow to scold him and stop him. Mostly verbal scolding or time out. No physical beating allow
it depends on the context but there are certain things that the maid should be given control to do so, especially if parents are out working
When it's done appropriately for certain situations, eg dangerous things, or being very rude etc. But verbal reprimand only
They should be allowed to a certain extend Else how Will kids know how to even respect people regardless of who they are!
and definitely not allowing the maid to physically punish the child. and verbal punishment should not be “abusive”
Depending on the situation but only to verbal stern voice...no physical punishment allowed at all times...
I think on certain things discipline verbally is fine. Anything more should be us the parent that do that
Basic manners to be observed. No hitting, screaming or disrespect.
