Should I still go for the immunisation appointment?

My LO needs to take her 18 months immunisation, but she's having a slight cough, and her fever comes and goes. Would she still be allowed to take the immunisation , or would it be better to go another time? She is entering playgroup in a week's time so I was thinking to go for the immunisation by this week. Any suggestions?

Better not if your LO is having slight cough. Play safe to reschedule when LO feels better. I’ve asked the nurses at the polyclinic before and they mentioned if LO is having slight flu etc or just recovered from fever better not take immunisation.
