I think it depends on where you live and what kind of music he's into! I know there are places like Aureus Academy that teaches musical instruments, but not sure about the minimum age. There are also music and movement classes like Kindermusik and Our Music Studios which are more of fun learning through music than being focused on learning an actual instrument :)
