Folic Acid

Hello, would like to know if anyone here feels sick after consuming folic acid? The 5mg folic acid prescribed from gynae caused so much wind and acid in my stomach and worsen my morning sickness that I got hospitalised due to dehydration. Now that I’m feeling better, I tried to resume my folic acid intake and i bought the 800mcg ones off the counter but I’m feeling the stomach wind coming again. #firstbaby #pleasehelp

I never had any prob w folic acid (also taking 5mg) but prenatal multivitamin does make my nausea worse and would end up vomiting it.

Nope. No issue with folic acid. I bought the OTC ones. Didn’t get from gynae though.
