Is it ok to touch the hfmd sores or do they hurt the baby? My son has it all over his body. Can I hold his hand and pat him to sleep or will I be aggravating it?

Sorry to hear about your son! Must be very uncomfortable for him to have sores all over the body. :( I think it is best not to touch the sores. You can hold your son's hands and pat him to sleep. But be sure to wash your hands after to avoid catching the virus from him. Hope he gets well soon!!
