Is it advisable to get a dog when children are around the age of 3? How do pets help to enhance a child's growth?

Pets and children at any age is an absolute yes for me. In my experience, having a doggie helps a lot in learning responsibility, empathy and kindness towards all creatures. Doggies can teach humans a thing or two about loyalty and friendship as well. We can all be so lucky to have both baby and doggie enrich our lives.
