Duration baby sleep in womb

Im in 2nd trim. Usually how long and how often do babies sleep when they’re still inside the womb? As at some time baby will be very active kicking and moving non stop then suddenly little to no movement for few hours. Then at night will start being active again. But the timings are unpredictable. Is it normal? As i tend to overthink alot 😅 Sometimes i would purposely poke my tummy in hoping baby would move bt most of the time doesnt work. #firsttimemom

it’s very very normal. pls don’t think so much. the timings are unpredictable because it’s also too small to be felt entirely. it doesn’t have a regular sleep cycle yet. it usually moves when you are not moving, as your movement lulls it to sleep. don’t worry so much. only start to worry in third trim, week 28 onwards.

This is very normal. As long as you can feel 10 movements within 2 hours, it is fine
