Real thoughts on out of wedlock baby

Im just curious on what people think of others who had a baby out of wedlock? Isit still looked down upon? but isnt it better that the parents took responsibility instead of going for abortion or abandoning the child?

I had my first child our of wedlock. I took responsiblity out of my own action. And before I got married I ask a few religious teacher of the necessary. Though at the back of my mind people would think bad of my pregnancy/child/married. Praises to Allah that my child did not face any negative thoughts. My family, in laws, close friends do love my daughter and pampered her. Whatever she wants, she get. I am thankful. I don't share much of my pregnancy during this period until I am married and give birth to my first child. I share only to our love ones and of course, workplace (but still no judgement) I was treated nicely too. I am also glad that I do not have a lot of Malay/Muslim friends around. Because I knew what's the outcome.

Unfortunately our Asian society is still rather conservative esp the older generation. If ure able to go past tt or ignore tt then good. Personally I think it's definitely still better to go ahead and take care of the baby tgt, at least when the time comes when ur kid is big enough to know what happened he/she knows u took responsibility.
