Baby Heartbeat

mumsh, of course that is normal since it is very hard to "feel" a baby's heartbeat with just your palm. just think of how many layers of skin, muscle, uterus, the water inside your womb, etc. are in between your palm and your baby's heart. and at 18wks, baby is still too small. I even used a stethoscope when I was 5-6mos pregnant but I wasn't sure if I really heard a faint heartbeat or just the pulse of my fingers
