10 weeks..

Im at my 10th week, but i can barely keep any food in me. I'll eat small portion but vomit it out the next half an hour. Any food, including fruits. I'm only drinking milk and soya milk to keep me full. Due to the lack of food, I'm also falling sick more often than usual. Is this all normal for a 10 week phase?

I can't imagine how awful it is :( Milk and soy milk is great! Full of nutrients and electrolytes to rehydrate your body. Some 'drier' foods might help e.g. biscuit/bread. Continue to have your prenatal vits - this is impt. Your body has nutrition stores from pre-pregnancy, so don't have to be too worried. Take note of your pee to see if you are getting too dehyrated. And also speak to your gynae for meds to manage the vomiting if it is affecting you too much!! Hang in there!!

Hope you feel better soon! Was there and pretty much only ate or drank whatever I liked regardless of nutritional value. Try eating right after you wake up as I felt like that was the only time I ate the most and tried to keep it in for at least 4h. Hang in there! Hopefully the second trim will be easier!

Ask for Diclectin from your doctor! That helped me tremendously other than lots of bed rest and just eating whatever I can keep down, even if it’s junk food. If it makes you feel better, first trimester was the worst for me too and it got significantly better after about the 14-16 week mark.

You can try and ask your gynae for diclectin or any anti nausea medication. Also had the same thing where I couldn’t keep anything down in my first trimester. For me soupy stuff and also spicy helped keep it down. You could try other flavours and see if that helps

Oh my this is the worst. Eat anything that you can keep down and most important try to get as much fluids otherwise u will get dehydrated and will need to go in for drips… frequently

I had similar experience.. and survived on sports drink then. Ask your gynae for anti-vomitting pills, it works :) mean while, hang in there!
