If i have to give 2 months notice for my job, can i resign on the 2nd or 3rd mth of maternity? Meaning to say i don have to go back to work after maternity.

Be careful . I believe the notice period is generally up to the employer to accept. Meaning if u say you want to resign they may tell u u can leave immediately.
