Go wedding - toddler need to be a human count?

If I bring my toddler to a wedding do I need to inform the couple? Do I need to include him as one count to occupy a seat? How do I calculate the hongbao amount to give the couple for my toddler?

Yes, it will be nice to let them know. Most of the time they don’t count the toddler but they might reduce the number of pax for that table so that it will be less squeezy (My wedding venue mentioned that baby chair will be seated slightly out so that the table can fit 10 pax nicely.) Just give the amount to cover for you and your husband will do (toddler no need to include).
