Late for First dose of Rota Vaccine
If my baby is now 4 months and hasn’t gotten the first dose of rota vaccine due to ECQ, can we still get her vaccinated even if it’s late, to catch up.
If naintindihan ko po ng tama according to Dr. Maala from AskDoc ng Tap, kelangan daw makuha ni baby lahat ng doses bago mag 8mos. If rotateq ung gamit for rota virus vaccine 3 doses po un, if rotarix 2 doses lang.. each dose daw should be 1month apart..if 4mos pa lang si baby niyo, either of the two ay pwede pa iadminister.. I am just not sure if strictly kelangan makuha ang first dose at a certain age/# of weeks.. sabi kasi ng pedia ni baby ko kelangan daw first dose makuha before 1.5mos while sa center namin sabi 2-3.5mos.. conflicting info nareceive ko but since gusto ko makuha ni baby ang vaccine, nag stick na lang ako sa sinabi ni Dr. maala so first dose niya ay 3.5mos.. rotateq ang naadminister coz un ang meron sa center may bayad nga lng..
